Saving...
Montreal with the sole purpose of seeing us, and only being able to see her for 1/4 hour. She had to get back to her children and we hadn't gotten around to seeing my Pop where she was until 1/2 hour before train time. Sounds complicated? Well it was. I simply cannot begin to tell you of all the other events. And there were so many of my friends and relatives I didn't get to see at all. Anyway, I said to myself, let me get away from this madhouse, to a nice quiet place like Albuquerque, and I shall finally sit down and write to the Foxes. So we get to Albuquerque and still I wait impatiently, to have a return address to give you, lo and behold, no living quarters available in the entire city and consequently, no return address. In desperation, I sit and write now, and by golly you can address us in care of general Delivery. They tell me there is a housing shortage going on!!! And how I long for a little place of my own. What wouldn't I give for it? Still I guess we are more fortunate than others. A friend of ours
