Saving...
was just leaving for a three week holiday in Texas with her folks. She offered us her place until the first of the year (if you plan on answering in a hurry, tho I don't deserve it but nevertheless hope you will - the address is 1112 E. Lead, Albuquerque N.M.) and so we are not just out in the cold. Its a lovely home, with a front lawn (no leaves) and a back yard too, and how I wish it were ours. However they tell me things will loosen up a bit by the first of the year. Here I am unburdening myself to you, with never an inquiry into your health and Hellys. And I wonder too about whether Helen is still home? I do hope so. Joyce Gale tells me that Manilla was out for Red Cross, and therefore Helens plans were changed. I've been wondering for so long, do write soon and tell me, of course, I know how busy you must be at this time of the year. I remember last Christmas, getting an idea about your busy times from your letters. But perhaps, if Helen is home she will help. A very very Merry Christmas Love Jay
