Indian Meal Pie. Mrs. Perry make 1 pt mush - 1/4 Lb butter stirred in while hot & set it away to cool - beat 3 eggs very light & stir into it - grate 1/2 nutmeg - Sweeten to taste with white sugar - 1 small tumbler wine & brandy mixed. Squash Pie. Mrs Bakers 1 qt. squash - 1 qt cream - 8 or 10 eggs - sugar to taste - 1 glass wine - a little mace - 1 tea spoon salt - ess. almonds Pumpkin Pie. Mrs Russell 2 small pumpkins - 2 qts milk - 7 crackers soaked in milk - spice & a small piece of butter Cocoanut Pie. Don't know 1 qt milk to a common size cocoanut, 6 eggs - 6 tablespoons sugar, the nut to be pared & grated fine
