-Cake- Cocoanut. Mrs. Coombs 1/2 Lb. Butter, & 1 of sugar beaten together add 6 eggs and 1 grated cocoanut - flavor with lemon add 1 Lb flour & after it is baked finish by eating. Cocoanut(cakes). Mrs. Cleveland Grate a cocoanut - take half its weight in sugar - the white of 1 egg - Mix & form into balls bake on a buttered tin sheet - the egg should be in the proportion of 1/2 doz to 1 Lb each of cocoanut & sugar.
