Remedy for Burns. Ed. Equal parts Linseed oil & limewater mixed together - all shaken well. To preserve Flowers in water. Ibed Mix a little Carbonate of soda with the water & it preserve the flowers for a fortnight. To revive a fading Flower. Ditto Cut the stalk & hold it a few moments in the flame of the candle, replace the flower in the water when it will recover its strength & blossom immediately. Prevention against Moths. also. 1 oz cloves - 1 of carraway seeds - 1 of nutmeg 1 of mace - 1 of cinnamon- 1 of Tonquin beans Add as much orris-rott as will equal all the other ingredients. Grind the whole together & put them in little bags among your clothes.
