Lemon Paste. 2 oz butter 1/2 lb loaf sugar 3 eggs grated rind of one lemon add the juice of one & a half break the eggs into a pan. Add the sugar, butter, lemon rind, & juice. heat the whole till it is as thick as honey stirring constantly. When ready put into small well covered jars it will keep a few months.
