Yes the Carib. stands for Caribbean and the A.T.C. for Air Transport Command. Dont know just how many divisions there are but it is quite an organization and covers a lot of the globe. From their reports at least they've done a lot of good and I guess they have, but I feel the heavy bombardment groups did their share also. There's a certain amount of rivalry and feeling between the two. Couldn't sleep late this morning, woke up early and it was too hot to go back to sleep. Will take a nap after dinner before I go to work. The nights have been quite cool, tho it was warm last night always take a shower before I turn in and as the water is cold I go to sleep before I warm up. Lumber and paint doesnt last long down here, the carpenters have been repairing our stair ways, which are outside the barracks. They cant be too old but were in very bad shape. Of course they were of ponderosa pine which doesn't stand up so hot. Paint peels badly also expect the wood wasnt dry when it was applied tho. Guess this is it -- Love Johnny
