Saving...
Not so very busy yesterday, I'm sure I didnt earn my pay. Helped another crew a little for we didnt have an engine to work on. Helped move a few barrells of cleaning solvent and loafed the rest of the time. Last night was another grand night for sleeping, rained all evening and was still pouring when I woke up. The rain on these tin roofs and the dripping from the eaves into the gutters around the barracks sure makes me snooze. Dont believe I'll go into town today but might later on. There is little to do in there and I have a few errands I want to do around camp. If I can find a box I'll send home some personal belongings. Wanted to get some shoes to send along but I guess that's hopeless. Havent had mail for the last couple of days maybe this mornings delivery will have some. Cant find a thing to write about so will sign off -- Love Johnny
