September 15, 1945 Trinidad Dear Dad & Mom: I'll write one last letter for I expect you are worrying about the hurricane we've been hearing about. Would have left yesterday but for that and now expect to leave tomorrow morning. The weather men wont let us leave until everything is okay so dont worry about weather conditions. I'm ready to go have had my luggage packed for a couple of days already, just hope I dont have too much weight. Got two letters from you today, the long one on the fancy new stationary & one mailed the twelth glad to get both. Heard today that one of our friends from this squadron was a civilian four days after he left
