2/ 4th of July. But she will stay two weeks at least. And we are anticipating a happy, happy time. She will revel in milk and cream fried chicken, fresh apple sauce, garden "sass" and the like and then we have band concerts Saturday evenings, wouldnt that be a treat (P) for her, coming from from Cedar Rapids? Father was down awhile last evening and said main street was literally packed with automobiles. Folks just hungry for some sort of intertainment, and to visit with each other. Oh, this hungry, lonesome world of people. Some poet wrote "Everybodys lonely, Everybody is" and I believe its true. Had a letter from Ernest lately in which he told of his good visit with you in Iowa City. I suppose he told you that George Watts had gone into the oil brokerage business in Tulsa Oklahoma. Malen was weakening about his visit here. Why he didn't say, But he thought
