Has given him baths, trimmed his mane and tail, and seems to thoroughly enjoy all this attention. We had a letter from Ernest today saying they are very fine notwithstanding the intense heat. Funny how we got your letters. As I wrote you we got the one telling of your safe arrival in Paris, the 20th of July and on Wednesday morning the 26th we recieved three others.
