Saving...
some time. But more and more as I increase my knowledge of the world. I feel that the place I want to call home must be in Iowa. It may be Iowa City or Des Moines or Cedar Rapids or (possibly) Dexter - it matters little - so it is in that state where there are wide spaces to breath in, where life if wholesome and calm if not particularly broad in its interests, where prosperity produces widespread comfort, and a strong people in the making gives promise of becoming really great. I don't know how long it will take, but I believe that some day it will be something to be an Iowan. I'm saddened by many experiences into the belief that it's not peculiarly so now. Nevertheless, Iowa is a good place to have for home.
