Saving...
sell both places and have something you'd both really like and enjoy. Bill is getting ready to go to rest camp for a week. Leaves tomorrow morning, sure hope the weather stays good. We get our choice of a Rome trip of three days or a week there, guess it's nice but rather monotonous. There is little to remind one of the army there, no regular hours, no especial uniform etc. I thought I'd rather see Rome tho. I still have lots of stationary so dont need any for a long time yet, the mailman keeps air mail envelops all the time now too so that problem is solved. Dont really need a thing badly. Guess you are a good guesser, it cant do any harm now. It was a year ago tomorrow we left and our convoy was the one that had a little trouble but I wasnt so very close to it, kind of exciting for awhile tho. We never got off our boat until we reached our destination but did lay over for awhile. Just arrived here for Easter Sunday. Dont worry about me, Im probably safer than I would be at home farming. You know more accidents occur to people at home than any other place. After all it's not like I was way up front, with us it's more like a job than anything else, not far different than what I did in the States.
