soon but when you get this be sure and tell her I've received it & thanks. No other mail tonight but there was only a little anyhow. We're still enjoying our radio keep right up on the news and good programs. Heard part of President Trumans speech. Had a good joke on one of the fellows the other day. He's a good southerner, he and another guy were speaking of the late presidents death. A. said "who will be president now?" B. "why the Vice Pres. automatically becomes Pres." A "Who's that?" B. "Truman" A. "He's a darn republican aint he?" We've had a lot of fun kidding him and a lot of laughs out of it, of course it isnt so funny not knowing the characters etc but I wont forget it for a long time. We have changed mess sergeants
