Saving...
April 21, 1945 Italy Dear Dad & Mom: Must hurry with this for the lights are about due to go out. I've had a busy day, changed an engine this afternoon and I'm ready to hit the hay. John Booth & I were helping out another crew but I enjoy that job better than many. I've had a good hot shower and a shampoo so I should sleep like a log tonight. I always do sleep good tho, I'm lucky to have such a good bunk & maybe my natural padding helps. Glad you got those pictures I sent, I have a bunch more & the junk I got in Rome to send but it is such a nuisance to get it censored, find a box, carry it to the group post office etc I just havent done it but will one of these days.
