Had a V-mail and a nice long air mail letter from you tonight which I was very happy to receive. Glad the Carpenters are well, I wish you would go up to see them in June when they open up their house at the lake, if you'd enjoy it. I've been doing a lot of serious thinking about what I should do when I get out of this army. I realize I'm getting old & better make up my mind. Dont know how I'd get on with brother but I've found out that you can get along with anyone if you want to put yourself out. What do you folks think of the idea. I'd have to learn an awful lot but perhaps I could. There isnt any use making any plans till this thing is over I reckon but I cant help wondering. Lights just went out --- Love Johnny
