Saving...
down here for the men having the most time overseas but that isnt me, darn it. Will try and be patient however but already it's hard knowing it's over. Got your long letter written the eleventh & twelth, last night and another this morning. Will Bob get out now or is he just home on a leave, sure hope he can get back to his old job and he & Vivian get settled down again. Dont know where you get the idea something is wrong with me, of course there is natural wear & tear, will soon be two years since you've seen me. Sure hope Japans surrender will change Milans plans in regard to going over there but now its over it might be an interesting trip. You folks have certainly been lucky at getting good housekeepers in the house next door good neighbors too. Sure hope dad can get the Ralphs place for the price he offered, think it would be all right at that money and a fine addition to his place. Wonder if Anton could ever get around it all. Will close for today Love Johnny
