Saving...
nuisance of themselves but I guess it cant be helped. Had stew for chow tonight, an army menace but it wasnt too bad. Had some sort of pickle relish which killed the taste also had ice cream so have no kick coming. There is a beautiful moon tonight a full one and it's as bright as day outside already tho it's scarcely nine oclock. It's bigger than a wash tub but would look prettier in Iowa. Missed breakfast this morning. I was awake early but thought I would snooze a little longer, didnt get up till after seven and as I had to shave, waited until mid morning and got a snack in the P.X. Started reading "So Big" one of Edna Ferbers and find it fairly interesting I'm not very far along in it as yet however. Must make up a laundry to go out in the morning so will sign off. Sure hope I'm home soon and will let you know as soon as anything breaks -- Love Johnny
