Saving...
cause them to split open. Yes I think the cattle have done well out at Bills, do we have any young stuff he will feed next year or not? Am quite pleased with my bank account, it's a real satisfaction to know there is a reserve to use for things I know i'll need when I get home. (If & when). Hope bob's business set up will be to his liking and they get set up again soon. Gathered that he must be discharged or expecting it soon. I thought it was a very nice place he was in when I stopped there a few hours three years ago. Yes he should have money enough on Captains pay saved up to give him a nice start. I feel the same way Dad does about owning attle & stock it's a good feeling, seeing young stock grow and knowing the strain is improving. Am anxious to see his holstiens, bet they make a pretty sight grazing in that creek pasture. Nothing more as yet about discharges except a few discouraging rumors, about the men being essential and not eligible for release etc. Still sounds good tho -- Love Johnny
