Think Dad paid Bills hogs quite a compliment if he wants to buy one. What kind are they this year, herkshires? Bill does well with his stock I think. Nice to hear his corn crop is well along to. It's a shame you missed your weekly picnic at the farm I know I'd enjoy it too. Maybe there will be lots of nice Sunday this fall and you can go many times yet this season. Poor Eddie Dullard has had an awful long siege of it and I'm might glad he will be home soon, also the Wadina fellows. Makes a guy realize how lucky some of us have been. That paper I sent you was a lot of bunk, tell you what I really think of it when I get home. As long as I'm in the army this is a good place, have never been at a better built up camp had better food nor had such a snap job. Unless you are near a good town or near home there isnt much advantage in being in the states. Think if you do hear me on the radio it will be the "Fighting A.A.F." May not come
