can get plenty before night. We have a little money in the squadron from our service club proceeds so are going to have a party one of these days soon. Also we're going to have a group picture taken for every man, and have set aside a sum for an address service. Appointed a secretary who will do this, a thankless job and it represents a lot of work but it's nice to know where your old friends live, change of addresses and have some way to get in touch with others. The Kohls seem to be doing well, sure am glad to hear it. I think Dad has the right idea about them keeping fewer cows and feeding better, believe it would pay. Cows are a mighty good price now too if a fellow has them to sell. He could pick out a dozen which would be almost purebred holsteins. Have the heifers from Jim [Ganans?] bull shown up well or hasnt he kept any? Mom I think polishing the car is too big a job, the finish must be pretty bad anyhow for the bus is getting old. Leo is right about the polish he has being simpler than simonize the even so it would be an awful lot of work. How does it run? Have you ever gotten any new tires or had the old ones recapped?
