Saving...
start to loosen up a bit and gas & tires will be a little more plentiful. I'm glad you got a B book am sure you folks deserve it and are far more conscientious about it than most. In the army no matter what an abundance of fresh foodstuffs there might be everything seems to come out of a can, so things will be no different here than elsewhere as far as food is concerned. It's such a lot easier to dump a can and there are so many to prepare for I guess it's no wonder. There is less grit and sand in canned vegetables than those prepared by a bunch of unwilling K.P's so that's an advantage. Dont see why Ralph is leaving the farm entirely, seems like their little home on the farm should just suit them. Sorry he and Uncle Raymond are at outs a little but it isnt surprising from what you've told me of Ralphs conniving & hoggishness. After all these years our ladder is going to have a reminder on it, thats a good idea paint it big & bright. Ray Beviss didnt lose any time after he got home did he. Glad he got out think he must have seen a lot of action and deserved a discharge far more than many who are getting them. Love Johnny P.S. Was pleased & surprised at the financial report.
