a day or so. They must have a drier of some sort at the quartermaster laundry, for I dont think they could dry them in weeks otherwise. Some of the fellows bought those hideous heads carved from coconuts, little stuffed alligators and grass skirts, do you think you'd like any of those? What is Rammys name I'm ashamed to say I dont know, is it Douglas W.? Maybe I can find something for he & Dickey while Im down here. They say there are some nice stores here & a fine U.S.O. Pap knows the cigar situation can you get them now or not. I believe I can get some down here and send to you. At least I'll investigate, the army gets them tax free but I think I can buy them & pay a tax on them & then it's okay to send them home -- Love Johnny
