Glad to hear Mr. Antis is now the district judge imagine he is pleased and he will be a good man for the job I'm sure. Makes a nice opening for Chuck too. Havent even put my shoes on today but have scuffed around in my old moccasins which I've had so long. Have to keep a sharp look out for mud puddles tho for the soles are really thin. Has rained intermittantly all day but right now the sun is shining. Often rains when the sun is out & we get some pretty rainbows. Hope Adeline, King & Bobby have a nice visit. Been a long time since they have been to West Union hasnt it. So Bob is growing tall, doesnt seem possible he can be fifteen soon Im getting to be an old man in this army. Will close for today -- Love Johnny Got a V-mail sent the twentieth yesterday.
