Will float over the whole south then I shall be glad. It is warm to day here and rains some. The roads there is none they are all mud. We have drilled a little but a general thing we dont have much to do now but eat and little of that. To day some of the boys got a box from home and they got some bunt cakes and dried apple and a chicken pie. They were the first cakes that we have seen since we left home. Byron and I talked of sending home and have his folks and you and mother make up a box and send it here to us if you will we will pay the fare make up a box of 200 pounds it cost about 20 shillings a hundred but we get war freight caried through at half price if you send any thing get as light a box as you can send what you can in provisions
