Mt. Plesent Hospital Aug 14 1862 Dear father I received your letter of the 8 last night and was glad to here from you. It found me enjoying good health my hand is getting most well. I wrote a letter to you yesterday you will get this about the same time you do that. It is midling cool today again. What it has been lately some of the boys that have got well are goeing back to their Regt most every day and some that are disable so they are not fit for service are goeing home. Them that have got well so the Hospital is getting cleared out pretty well. Yesterday they sent a lot of sick ones over here from Alexandria yest day so as to give
