why we were sent here. I do not know how long we shall stay here. When I wrote to you last we were in camp haveing a good time of it and the Capt thought we would winter and we all thought so we may yet but they look difrent now but we don't know how soon they may change father you said you would send me a barrel of nice appels. I shall be glad when I get them If you put the Directions on right there will be no trouble. We left Byron in the hospital at the Fery. He has been very low but is getting along he will probly come home on a furlough when he gets a little better. He said he shall try to. I shall try to come home some time this winter if I am spout.
