Today our Corps was reviewed by Gen McClellen for the last time It was more like a funeral than any thing else. Our Corps was drawn up on one side of the road and Franklins Corps on the other and McClellen passed between as he pass through there was a salute fired from each Corps it was hard to think that he was not to comand us any more. There was a great many tears shed over it. McClelan look very sober more so than I ever saw him before it has been a great blow to the army of virgina. We have lossed
