of our right wing again while Pope had comand he was whiped and driven in site of the fortification at Washington. Then the rebels invaded Mayrland and Penn then the government at Washington did not know what to do but they finaly conceded to give McClellen the command again and then what did he do he fought tow hard battles and sent the rebs howling toward Richmond but the peopel of the North were not satisfied with this they censured him and set him like a dog he done all he could all that human being is cabel of doeing. After we had driven the rebels out of Maryland McClellan said we must have a little rest before we made a genral advance which we more then needed for we had see no rest more then
