are all well and in good health. I havent heard from Lon since we left Falmouth. I would like very much to here [sic. hear] from him. They have finely taken Morgan and his gang. Every thing is going on finly [sic. finely] out west and every other place. There was about 600 conscripts to come here to the Junction yestday [sic. yesterday]. They are the first that have come to the arny yet. The old regiments will soon be full again so by Sept. we will see another hard campaign of about one month which will put a end to the rebellion I hope. I havent much news to write there has been some talk of our goeing [sic. going] to Washington to recruit up.
