Saving...
We arrived too late to go to headquarters to see about mail. The chance of finding letters from you will hasten me out there in the morning. And now I'm going to pile into a bed. Again, its not a good Americain bed such as you are gracing tonight, but it looks more inviting than a sleeping bag on an army cot. I only wish - that tonight again I could know the feeling of having your head on my shoulder, of your thrilling touch - oh, honey, I can't write of it. The very thought makes my heart leap. I kiss you again and again and again. Love me, dearest. Love me as I love you. You are all life offers of happiness. Forever yours, beloved, Conger.
