not take me long to become qualified, but I don't know what you would say to this. I've not dared mention it to Mama. Now don't begin to worry dear, because I wouldn't consider doing it without your permission, but I want to do something. Several towns are arranging for me to produce my lil ol' musical sketch. It doesn't amount to much, tho' some of the songs are not so bad, but if it will make some money for the Red Cross I'll work my head off for it. Fort Scott, Joplin, Arcadia and Rich Hill, Mo. and Winfield, Wier, and Coney, Kans. are the only ones so far. Bub wants me to come to Kanawha (Iowa) later, as soon as I've finished here, and put it on up there.
