Twenty-six 3/6?/18 My dearest, Wot d'ye think? I got another letter from you today. It was of date Jan. 26, and the first addressed "Unassigned" that has reached me. Good thing it came because the other fellows have been getting three or four letters each a day recently. I still have heard from no one in America but you, - which leads me to believe that some of my mail has taken to the sidetrack. Mother, at least, has surely written to me. My first impressions about the Climate over here have been rudely dispelled. Since we landed it has grown steadily worse. Yesterday it snowed all day until we had half a foot on the level. Today the melting process had turned to snow into a layer of icy mush. As sidewalks are negligible in France it is like fording
