Saving...
kerchiefs from the dock; it was cold, grim business. I thought of you and wished I could kiss you good-bye. I have not seen the R. & L. account of our wedding. Indeed I had seen no account until I got Jack Newman's letter today enclosing stories printed by the Tribune and the News. They had most of it straight. I'll save them to show you. No doubt the R. & L. clippings will arrive in time, so you need not send yours. The letter business is not so uncertain as it is irregular. I suppose some of your letters may have gone down on the T- but the rest will reach me, even if not in order. Oh, yes, I have a beautiful mirror above my mantel piece. But I'm only brushing my hair once a day now - honest. No sweetheart to muss it up, you see. I love you every minute, and miss you as often, and am keeping good as angel pie - all for my wonderful wife. Kisses! Con.
