we'll have our home established before the Span'ard get the notion out of her head that she wants to come to Iowa City. And encourage George Schumann all you can. I think a lot more of the boys who want to work their way through the university than I do of the good fellows who have a good time on Dad's money. Perhaps that is because I put myself through. I made enough to pay most of my expenses as I went, and the money that was furnished me I paid back to the last cent before I had been out two years. I'll do everything I can to make the way practicable for George. Please tell me about your "family affairs" whenever you want to. You know they are mine too now. I wonder, really whether I'll ever be able to express what glorious meaning that fact has for me.
