I'm not obliged to take it, and will get knives, forks, or spoons if you think we should lay in a stock of them first. I should be glad to know what you have so that I can govern my purchases accordingly. I am writing this hurriedly before going down to join some of my colleagues for dinner at the Far East. That will beat eating alone, but I don't look forward to it with great pleasure. I want my sweetheart - wife beside me. She would like the Chop suey we shall probably feed on, and she would be much more entertaining than the lieuts. will be. Honey, I love you. I love you as a husband should - and much much more.
