I had to sit by some one because the place was full, and everyone is eating with every one else. I am not flirting with any of them. They all know how much I love my dear hubbie. You know, too. Dearest, I'm simply going to count the minutes until I am with you again. It will be a long count, too. I can't help hoping they keep you in Washington. I do hope it, and no one can blame me, because I love you so. I'm nearly finished knitting that scarf. I ravelled out all the mistakes and made it all over, and it looks nice. Your helmet I'll begin on as soon as I can get the yarn, and I'll finish up the "hankies" I was making
