that time I was able to think clearly and knew I'd not do anything foolish, but it was a big relief to find no alarming news waiting for me. Friday night mama & I went to the picture show and we mos' nigh froze. It was twenty nine below niblow. That is pretty cool for Nevady, and the natives are prepared for everything in "Revelations" now. I'm not stepping out socially any more until the mercury rises. Ruby is preparing to see Samide in a few days. It is going to be pretty tough to see a sojer boy around here, and mine so far away. Honey, are you any less miserable than you were? My loneliness is the queerest ever! I am working my head off and that helps a lot but very suddenly, with no warning, I realize how awfully I long for you
