Cottey -- Jan. 15th, 1918. Conger dearest,-- No knowing where you are for sure, I am sending a letter to New York and this one to France. I hope you get them both some way, because if my letters mean to you one tenth part of what yours mean to me, you'll welcome even the least of them. Isn't it funny -- there are so many dozen things I wanted to say to you and do for you and ask you about before you left but I couldn't think of any of them until you were out of reach.
