I have decided those letters stand for "Me and Con." Elegant? And if that be too poor to suit a Journalist, why not let them mean "Marry Christmas"? And this reminds me of the question of silver. I haven't a great deal of Mary Chilton but as long as I've started it and it is beautiful, why not keep on? I have no knives or forks in that pattern. I have some in the Patrician but I'm not wild about them. And then I have some that are not new -- just plain Rogers ones. I have plenty of teaspoons M.C. for now, and an olive spoon & the meat fork. Ruby is getting me the bouillon spoons. (Gee! that word looks wrong but I know it isn't.) I have no fruit spoons in this pattern, and they'd be verry nice. Perhaps it might be more sensible tho, since I haven't the knives & forks
