missed a mess and I have fallen asleep on every comfortable bench I have occupied. Good thing for me. Between shopping by day and playing with the Sanborns or the fellows of my crowd at night I didn't sleep much in ___ port of embarkation. Did I tell you that it was 4 o'clock in the morning that I finished my letter to you and went to bed for a little sleep the morning we were to sail? Wow, but I was sleepy when I went on board. One thing I know I forgot to tell you was that the box of Turkish candy you doubtless received was an incidental souvenir of the interesting little restaurant where I dined several times.
