We have no prospect of anything to do but await orders that will take us elsewhere. There are reports that the next move will be to a staff school, but we are getting skeptical about reports. Now that we are well and comfortably established we are in no hurry to leave. It is very quiet and restful here. With nothing to do we can write the letters that have been neglected and take interesting walks through the beautiful country hereabouts. Our chiefs are in no hurry for us to get to work; why should we object to the opportunity to learn about the country life of France. We dined very well tonight at the chief hotel of the city for about what an ordinary dinner
