Saving...
throbbing with the happy conciousness that you are no longer merely my hope but truly my mate, proud indeed to possess your heart, ambitious to do everything I can that will bring comfort and pride and happiness to you. I can think of no finer influence that could be exerted upon the life of a man than is that which I feel from the realization that you are my wife. Dearest girl, you own me completely. Perhaps I am unwise in confessing it. Before we were married I used to disguise my feeling. I would play out the line and then haul it in quickly. I would write things to make you think I did not care. Somehow that kind of diplomacy produced results. Perhaps now if you know that you have me all in all you will find married life dull
