Many, many times I run across those little "human interest" pictures that you see in the news pictorials of the Sammies playing with the children or chatting at the doorways with the women and the old men. They have few words in common but somehow by many gestures they manage to carry on long conversations. This place is only another waiting point for me. I am waiting for orders as to where I am to go next. It will probably be to a staff school. In the meantime I am quite content.
