at work here and that we shall probably be here a considerable time. When we report at 9:30 tomorrow morning we shall learn more definitely about that and about what our work is to be. I caught only a hurried glimpse of the town and the surrounding country. My first impression was that both are the most attractive I have seen over here. So I rather hope that we are going to stay. Shortly after we arrived, I dropped in at the officers room of the Y.M.C.A. for a good American sandwich and coffee. The hostess was a fine girl from the U.S.A.
