No, Fourteen. February 13, 1918. Dearest, - Yes, I know this paper is all crumpled. That's because I have been carrying it in my overcoat pocket. I could use Y.M.C.A. paper but it is ruled so that I couldn't wobble over the sheet the way I like to. So I won't use it. I'm being perfectly good tonight, spending my evening in the Y- the officers' Y downtown. There is positively no place at the barracks where one can loaf comfortably. We have no heat, no lights, no easy chairs, no nothin. At the several schools here there are many officers. The Y has provided for their comfort in off hours by taking over a big old house
