happened. I didn't know about it until the excitement was all over. As General Sir Douglas Haig might report, so do I of today's development, - "There is nothing to report." We worked indoors all forenoon and had a pleasant stroll around the country in the afternoon. I received a letter this morning, but it was only from Arthur. It had been three days on the way. Our military postal system is having a hard time I guess. Love to Mother and greetings and good wishes to your girls. For you, sweetheart, hugs and kisses galore. Je t'adore! Conger.
