Feb 18- 1918 mother My dear son. - cottey college Nevada Mo You cannot imagine how glad we were to get your two letters from England. However we missed two of them as they were numbered 1,4,5. but that is not so bad, I do hope you have recieved as many of Daphne's - I know we can not help missing a number of the letters from each side in these troublesome times. We miss you so and your dear good letters too, and live only in the hope of being reunited when this dreadful struggle is ended
