in a woman who would give up the luxury of her home in America to undergo the hardship she has known in order to soothe human suffering. Her talk showed her to be a person of refinement. I'll wager the very sweetness of her voice has been better than medicine to many a pailie. But she made me lonely. She talked about her nice hubby, and she made me think of my nice li'l wife and - a lot of the beautiful things that are for the moment unattainable. We saw the general yesterday morning.
