Y. workers over here are considerably more liberal in their views than they are back home. Sh-sh-- on two different occasions I have seen them in restaurants drinking wine. I don't think myself this latter stunt is very discreet on their part. Fancy what a fuss it would make at the church meetings if the word went around that the money furnished for Y.M.C.A salaries was being used to buy wine. The thing wouldn't be looked at at home as it is here. Don't breathe a word of this information, though, honey. I wouldn't cause them any difficulty for worlds. Their welfare work is too big and helpful to deserve any quibbling criticism. Between jumps at the censure this afternoon I scribbled
